Kuningan Ceremony is celebrated 10 days after Galungan Day. Balinese believes that on this holy day, the Gods and Pitara (ancestors) descend to the earth to blessing and bestow prosperity on humanity, both physically and spiritually. In accordance with Balinese Calendar, this ceremony is celebrated every 210 days each year, and fall on Saturday or Saniscara Kliwon wuku Kuningan, often called Tumpek Kuningan.
