Berawa Beach Canggu is a hidden gem, a low laying grey-sand beach with great seascapes, coconut trees, green vegetation and peaceful surroundings. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, Seminyak, Kuta, Jimbaran, and the Bukit Peninsula in the distance. This place provides an opportunity for relaxation by the sea, and you can enjoy this miracle in a day or two.
This sweet beach is situated in Tibubeneng, North Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. The spot is less than an hour from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Drive north to Kerobokan Area through the By Pass Ngurah Rai Street and take the Sunset Road. Then continue on the Batu Belig Street until you hit the Jl. Subak Sari. Follow this road and take the Jl. Pantai Berawa.
This may be a bit hard and through several intersections before you reach the beach. It would be better to check the map beforehand.
Formerly rice fields were vast and fertile, but now they have narrowed and spread. You will pass many traditional Balinese houses, also food-stalls, cafes, bars and souvenir shops that line along the main road. Limited parking, it would be better if you use a motorcycle.
Berawa Beach is one of the surfers' favorite spots to catching some good waves. There are few surfboard rentals and you can take surf lesson too. You can have a great surf experience here. The spot is only a few walk to other famous surf spots such as: Batu Bolong Beach, Old Mans, Echo Beach (Batu Mejan) and Pererenan Beach.
The beach seems quiet in the morning, not to crowd. You can see nice reflection on the wet sand. There are few local cafés on the beach with nice view out to sea. The atmosphere here is calm with a slow rhythm of life. Many hotels and villas are available near the beach if you want to stay overnight.
This is a sweet escape, nice beach to play with kids or chilling your day. Many locals visiting this place on weekend. It has great view for sunrise jogging or serene walk during sunset. You can walk the dogs here.
Visitors can spend time here, playing soccer, boogie board and sunbathing. The waves are big and strong, not recommended for swimming. You can also rent sun-bed and parasol, napping, watching people and drink cool coconut or cold beer.
The beach is situated on the west coast of Bali and blessed with a stunning sunset. You can enjoy the romantic scene with laid-back feel, cool sea-breeze, blue waves and beautiful surroundings. This is great place to just relax, watch the sun go down and let the day go by.
