Kedonganan beach has a charming view, white sand, and the water conditions are relatively calm and shallow. In the morning, it was still quiet beaches and fresh, your eyes will be spoiled by the views of white sand stretching along Jimbaran Bay. Kedonganan Beach Jimbaran
The beach is located in Jimbaran Bay, the southern side of the Ngurah Rai International Airport, precisely in the village of Kedonganan, District of Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. The beach is relatively quieter and un-crowded, so many visitors chose to come here. You can feel the tranquility, cool breeze, and the melody of the waves here.
To the south is the Jimbaran Beach, while in the north bordering with the airport runway. Visitors can watch the planes take off at the end of the runway every few minutes. Nevertheless, the airport noise did not affect the atmosphere in the coast of Kedonganan.
Residents in the village of Kedonganan has majority livelihood as fisherman. Fishermen docked back to the beach in the morning, and then sell the catch to the buyers and the fish market (which is located on the north coast of the beach).
Then their colorful boats are moored along the beach, in front of the fish market. Visitors who come here can also buy fresh fish and seafood directly from the fisherman or buy them in the market.
Kedonganan Beach Attraction
In addition to the seafood and fish market of Kedonganan, visitors can also observe the activities of fishermen on the coast, such as repairing nets, preparing to go to sea, including seeing several fishermen cooperate to push their boat from sea water for moored in beach sand.
The situation is calm, full of uniqueness of people activity, coupled with a row of beautiful fishing boats and charming views of Jimbaran Bay have been attracting lovers of photography to capture this precious moment.
Not only photographers but also surfers are often seen here, to rent a fishing boat. There are a couple of good surf breaks just off the airport. The location is quite far out at sea causing surfers to paddle out for a bit longer. But some of them decide to use the services of boats which belonging to the fishermen near Kedonganan fish market, to take them to the spot.
Seafood Restaurant Kedonganan
Late in the afternoon approximately 4:00 pm, the beach started too crowded. This beach is one of the best beaches in Bali for lover of seafood. Along the coast there is a row of café and restaurant which serves menu of fish and seafood, and open till late at night.
Café and restaurant usually get a supply of fresh fish from fishermen or directly from the fish market. Chef cooking expertise greatly affects the taste of food. The location is also supported by an adequate parking area, so visitors had no trouble finding parking for their vehicles.
Visitors can choose a table on the shoreline. Enjoying the dish with tranquil atmosphere, and beautiful sunset background. This atmosphere is reinforced by the cool breeze blowing on the beach, the sound of the waves, and the twinkling lights of the cafes and restaurants, creating a romantic and unforgettable impression for every visitor.
